Whether married, in a registered partnership or in a civil partnership: at Profond, everyone is entitled to a spouse’s pension or partner’s pension. Learn more about the requirements.
Marriage and registered partnership
Persons living in a registered partnership are treated in the same way as married persons at Profond and have the same rights and obligations. Profond will be notified of the change in your marital status by your employer.
Civil partnership (cohabiting)
Persons in a (unregistered) partnership may also be entitled to a surviving dependants’ pension with Profond. You can find all of the requirements on the corresponding information sheet.
Important:
- Report a new family situation immediately if you want to benefit your partner.
- Also let us know the end of a partnership, so that we can update your information.
- Also, when changing jobs, remember to report your partnership. The beneficiary status is not automatically passed on to the new insurance company.
