Profond congratulates Dr Mirjam Staub-Bisang on her appointment as country head of BlackRock Switzerland and senior adviser for sustainable investment – at the same time we are delighted to be able to continue to count on her services.
 
The appointment of Mirjam Staub-Bisang as country head of BlackRock Switzerland is a confirmation of her great track record over many years in the financial sector as well as her strategic abilities. “Mirjam Staub-Bisang has strongly influenced Profond and positioned it excellently in the occupational pension market through her work as a Foundation Board member since 2015 and as Chairman of the Foundation Board since 2017,” said Laurent Schlaefli, Managing Director of Profond. Under Staub-Bisang’s leadership, Profond initiated a strategic realignment and introduced the digital transformation in 2017. Furthermore, in 2018 Profond once again received the SonntagsZeitung Award for the Highest Interest Rate over Ten Years in the semi-autonomous joint and collective foundations segment.
 
Staub-Bisang will commence her new role at BlackRock on 1 November 2018. She will continue in her role as Chairman of the Foundation Board as before. However, she will resign from all committees – with the exception of the management committee – with immediate effect.
