At its meeting on 29 August 2019, the employer representatives of the Foundation Board of Profond elected Stephan Schelling as a new member of the Board. The graduate economist and proven investment expert is managing director and partner at the Independent Capital Group in Zurich. Before joining the Independent Capital Group, Schelling worked for UBS and Goldman Sachs, among others.

Schelling will take office from 1 October 2019. The vacancy caused by the departure of Mirjam Staub-Bisang at the end of June 2019 could thus be filled.
