Profond again wins the award for the highest interest rate over 10 years, making it the best pension fund in the category.
We are delighted to once again take first place for the highest interest rate over 10 years (2011-2020) in the 2021 pension fund comparison by the SonntagsZeitung and Finanz und Wirtschaft, making us the best pension fund in this category. And this is already the thirteenth time.
We are proud of this achievement. It shows that we are constantly working to offer our insured the best possible benefits.
Laurent Schlaefli, Managing Director of Profond, sees the awards as confirmation of the long-term investment strategy:
“We are very pleased to receive the award for the highest interest rate over 10 years and to have generated the best return over 10 years. Thanks to sustained high returns, we are able to offer our policyholders a high interest rate. This success is made possible by our long-term investment strategy. The award confirms this.
We are also aware of our responsibility towards the environment and society. We fulfil this responsibility by, among other things, adhering to the guidelines of the Association for Responsible Investment in our investment decisions, by excluding arms manufacturers or by adhering to ESG criteria when exercising our voting and election rights.
We work every day to ensure that our policyholders continue to benefit from above-average interest rates and benefits. This is how we ensure their financial prosperity in the third stage of life.”
For the 15th time, the SonntagsZeitung and Finanz und Wirtschaft presented the awards for the best collective foundations in Switzerland. The awards were given to those pension funds that made it to the top in the pension fund comparison conducted by the consulting firm Weibel Hess & Partner AG.

Over 5% annual return on average? And that since 1991?
What others only promise, we deliver. This is shown by our annual return, which has averaged 5.1% for 30 years. You too can count on a pension partner for your company who takes a long-term view and makes the most of your retirement assets.
