On 9 May 2019 at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute in Rüschlikon, “Finanz und Wirtschaft” held a forum on the subject of sustainable investment. Our CEO Laurent Schlaefli was invited to take part in the panel discussion to tackle the question: “Does sustainable investment make sense?”

A number of issues were broached during the 30-minute discussion, including the product offer in the field of sustainable investments, exclusion criteria, cost-benefit analysis and impact reporting.

The conclusion was that a growing number of people are taking sustainability criteria into account when investing – but that it is always critical to look at exactly what has gone into a particular product.
